Welcome to My Home Choice Fylde Coast

MyHomeChoice Fylde Coast is a choice based lettings system that will operate across Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre. The system will replace the existing lettings arrangements of the housing providers involved, and partners’ properties on the Fylde Coast will be let through the new system.  

Who is involved?

Blackpool Council, Wyre Borough Council, Fylde Borough Council, Blackpool Coastal Housing, Regenda, Muir, New Fylde Housing, Places for People and Great Places Housing Group have come together to work out a choice based lettings system that covers the whole Fylde Coast area.

Why the change?

It will make applying simpler and fairer. There will be just one application form to fill in and everyone’s application will be assessed in the same way.


Before any decisions were made we needed to make sure that we had discussed our ideas with as many people as possible. We consulted existing tenants, people on the waiting list, plus local councillors, housing and support providers and advice services. The next steps

The next steps will involve working on the new system and contacting everyone on our housing register to find out if their circumstances have changed and to check that they wish to remain registered to apply for housing with us
